New equipment announcement
Precision Hydro jet is proud to announce the addition of a Trumpf V230 (257 ton) press brake to its group of equipment. We are now able to provide our customers with formed parts from mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum in thicknesses up to 1/2" and a maximum part length of 127". This will compliment our cutting equipment that we already have and provide our customers the ability to receive all of there parts from one facility. This piece of equipment will allow us to continue to provide above average quality and on time delivery.
Precision Hydrojet would also like to announce Ron Westmacott as new management as of August 1st, 2010. Ron comes to us with 20 years of cutting experience. Since Ron's arrival, he has implemented numerous improvements. Ron's focus is on increasing efficiencies and he has already added technology to improve turn around times on quoting and CAD work as well as material usage.
We have also added a second shift and new staff members which has doubled our capacity. This will allow us to provide our customers with short lead times and competitive pricing to match today's market demands. We look forwarded to growing with our current customers and also the opportunity to prove ourselves to new ones.

ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Registration
In September, 2006 Precision Hydrojet started their journey as an ISO 9001:2000 registered company. In September, 2009 Precision Hydrojet continues the quality focus and is now registered to the advanced ISO 9001:2008 standard. Registration is only awarded to those companies that can prove, through audit, all aspects of their Quality Management System have been implemented and are being consistently followed and maintained. In addition to the internal audits that happen regularly throughout the year, the Registrar conducts surveillance audits, which occur annually. The audits are completed to ensure the quality system is resulting in improvements not only to customer satisfaction but also to the overall quality of all business processes.
The ISO 9001 series standards are internationally recognized quality management system requirements developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It places great emphasis on quality planning and commitment by top management and all employees.
Precision Hydrojet is committed to completely understanding our customer's requirements and meeting those requirements every time. The desire to continue to meet the needs of customers is evident by the additional discipline that has been added to the business through our ISO 9001:2008 registration.

Waterjet Cutting is now even Friendlier to the Environment!
When cutting extremely hard materials, an abrasive called garnet is mixed into the waterjet stream to increase its power. During the cutting process, some of the garnet is damaged and until recently only a small portion has been manually recycled. Since implementing a new garnet recycling process, virtually all of the re-useable garnet is recovered, thus improving the efficiency of the already environmentally friendly waterjet cutting process.
