Industrial Waterjet Cutting
Through the utilization of new technology and innovative thinking, Precision Hydrojet routinely solves complex machining problems, such as reducing the amount of "spray back" typically found when cutting over grates by the installation of a steel ball tank. By controlling all aspects of cutting in this responsible manner, Precision Hydrojet protects our customer's delicate materials and surface finishes.
Waterjet cutting effectively eliminates many secondary processes, like deburring, as rough edges are nonexistent. As well, the machine and tooling costs are low, as pre-drilling is unnecessary: the waterjet drills its own holes at an incredible pace - 1" titanium in 3.3 seconds. Additionally, costs are cut through the reduced setup required for complex CNC milling work.
As the waterjet is a cold cutting process, Precision Hydrojet specializes in cutting materials where heat is prohibited or where heat distortions will create additional charges. This cold cutting processes can save money on both material and time if secondary machining processes are required, as the Heat Affected Zone.
We also decrease material usage with the aid of a specially designed computer program, which finds the most effective cutting patterns for any given size of material.
Precision Hydrojet now has two waterjet cutting machines to serve you better. The first machine has a 8 ft x 12 ft capacity table, while the other is a 4 ft x 10 ft. As both machines have 3 cutting heads, we will quickly turn around your order to save you time and money.
